Idyll Construction's origins are in custom home building. Mark Raudenbush, the founder, started in the construction industry in the 80s working as a laborer and then carpenter for a Gentlemen Builder in North Florida. Typically building a small number of homes each year, with each and every one being fully customized. When Idyll Construction was formed in 1977, it was modeled after that same "Gentleman Builder" concept that Mark had watched be so successful. In the 2000’s Idyll grew to running multiple crews and managing a large number of jobs simultaneously. It continues to be important that we stay close to the project, close to the client, and never lose sight of our origins.
